MILAN - Seven months after undergoing surgery on his shoulder, Andrei Radu took another big stride back to full fitness as he came through his second match with the Primavera on Saturday.
The 19-year-old keeper, who was promoted to the senior squad in the summer after helping the Under-19s win the Primavera Coppa Italia last season, kept a clean sheet in the goalless draw against Bologna, having featured against Frosinone the week before.
"It's been a really tough year for me but you know you have to make sacrifices," he told Inter Channel.
"I'm fine now. I'm grateful to everyone who's helped me and now I'm just working hard to get back to me best.
"I'm happy to be back on the pitch again. The club, coaching staff and all my team-mates have been very supportive I thank them all for the faith they've shown in me."
