FROSINONE - An 83rd-minute winner by Andrea Pinamonti enabled Inter Primavera beat Frosinone 2-1 and qualify for the Final Eight with two matches to spare.
Xian Emmers set the Nerazzurri on their way when he slotted home after collecting Matteo Rover's ball in from the right in the 35th minute.
Pinamonti almost made it 2-0 seven minutes into the second half but his header came back off the bar. To make matters worse, the hosts then broke forward and Luca Paganini levelled up the scores with a tidy finish from Nicola Palmieri's cross.
Stefano Vecchi brought on Axel Bakayoko and Mouhamed Belkheir and threw caution to the wind by switching to a 4-2-4 formation and he was rewarded in the 83rd minute when Pinamonti slid in for what proved to be the winning goal for the Nerazzurri - his 16th of the campaign.
Victory sees Inter move back ahead of Atalanta at the top of Group C and - more crucially since first and second qualify automatically for the Final Eight - seven points clear of Roma and Entella in joint third place.
