MILAN - Inter hosted their corporate hospitality VIP night in the wonderful Sala Terrazzo at Milan's Palazzo Parigi. The evening was organised especially for the club's corporate hospitality clients to thank them for another season and officially open the 2017/18 campaign.
Francesco Ambrosoli, Infront Italy's head of corporate hospitality, joined F.C. Internazionale's head of stadium revenue Luca Innocenti to host the event. The guest of honour was vice president Javier Zanetti, who met the corporate clients and gave an insight into his management role after a lengthy career spent on the pitch.
"Thank you for the reception. It's always nice to see you," began Zanetti. "After 23 years as a professional, I decided to take on this new challenge in management. I thank the club for giving me the opportunity to continue my time at Inter.
"This club has given me a lot and I wanted to give something back in return. It's perhaps even harder now because it's agony watching from the stands, whereas I could let my adrenaline out when I played. I wanted to go out and train the first day I came into my office. It was odd but I just wanted to play my part. We have lots of people who form a strong team off the pitch so we can create a great side on it."
