MILAN – It was another good weekend for the Inter youth academy, with five wins from six matches and 19 goals scored against just four conceded.
Stefano Vecchi’s Primavera side returned to league action with a 2-0 win over Cagliari at the Breda, increasing their advantage over Atalanta (+5) and Roma (+8) and taking another important step towards the Final Eight phase.
Gianmario Corti’s U18s secured top spot in their group with a 5-1 win over Giana Erminio, meaning they qualify for the Berretti season finals with three games to spare.
It was the same story for the U15s, who hit four without reply at Cagliari to qualify for the finals with two matches left to play.
The only defeat of the weekend was suffered by Matteo Lombardo’s U16s, who went down 2-0 to Cagliari.
After their 2-1 derby win over Milan, Andrea Zanchetta’s U17s thrashed Cittadella 5-0 to secure another three points.
