MILAN - Inter Academy have been very busy overseas recently and there are plenty more dates in the diary to come in the next few months. The experience of the Nerazzurri youth-team coaches will allow plenty more youngsters to benefit from first-class training.
First up it's a meeting in the wonderful setting of Athens where, from 10 to 15 April, head of technical operations Aldo Montinaro will run an Inter Academy Camp for kids aged six to 16. He will be joined by Luigi Bonanno (Inter Football Schools coordinator), Gabriele Zanon (grassroots goalkeeping coach) and Nerazzurri youth-team coaches Giuseppe Fonseca, Othman El Jouhari and Massimiliano Barisoni.
Fun training sessions will be held on the pitch in the mornings, while the focus will switch to theory in the classroom in the afternoons. As ever, Inter Academy strongly believes in training good local coaches. Such has been the demand, the local partner is weighing up running another camp in August to allow as many kids as possible to take part in this special adventure.
In the meantime, Inter Academy, under the stewardship of technical director Marco Monti, continue to plan the next Summer Camps abroad. Indeed Greece is but the first leg of a series of trips around the world. Inter Academy will head to China, the United States and all over the Mediterranean in their efforts to add a touch of Nerazzurri colour to thousands of children's summers.
