MILAN – Andrea Zanchetta’s Inter Under 17 Serie A and B side beat AC Milan 2-1 on Sunday afternoon to claim the derby bragging rights for the Nerazzurri half of the city once again, following their victory earlier in the season.
Inter started the game well at the Vismara, as both Merola and Adorante came close to grabbing an early goal, but it was the Rossoneri who took the lead on 30 minutes.
The Nerazzurri rallied instantly and were level before half time, Gavioli pouncing on the rebound after Gnoukouri had hit the crossbar. Inter’s second came just three minutes into the second half, as Visconti dispatched a fine effort into the back of the net for 2-1.
The result means Inter move onto 46 points, with two games in hand on the leading pack.
Inter will face Hellas Verona on Wednesday 29 March at 15:00 CET.
