KHARTOUM – The Inter Club family has a new outpost this afternoon with the launch of Inter Club Sudan, the fifth such club in Africa.
The goal of the Inter Club movement is to bring Nerazzurri supporters together and help them feel closer to their favourite club.
We caught up with club president Muntasir Khalid Ziada for his reaction to the news.
"We have that quote from Giacinto Facchetti etched into our minds: ‘There are days when being an Interista is easy, others when it’s a duty and others still when it’s an honour.’ We started making contact on social media, then got together to watch a game – it was the foundations of setting up the club officially," he explained.
"We lay on a range of activities to get members involved," added vice president Khalid Alarabi. "We’ve formed a football team and have played some matches, but we also organise charity events in addition to watching Inter together."
