MILAN - Stefano Vecchi's
Primavera had their league match against Novara brought forward to
Thursday due to their impending commitments in the Viareggio Cup (the
Nerazzurri begin their campaign against PAS Giannina today). The game
ended goalless at the Stadio Silvio Piola, with Inter maintaining top
spot in Group C, three points clear of Atalanta and five ahead of Roma.
The
Berretti's good run continues meanwhile. Gianmario Corti's side saw off
Lumezzane with a spectacular 5-3 win. The Under-15s are also flying,
opening up an eight-point lead at the top of the table by beating
second-placed Atalanta. The Under-16s lost to the same opposition
however. The Under-17s were edged out in the Città di Arco Trophy, while
Gnonto's early strike for the Under-14s couldn't prevent them from
slipping to defeat in the derby.
