MILAN – Stefano Vecchi’s Primavera side kicked off the weekend’s youth academy action with a 4-0 win over Ternana which kept them five points clear of Atalanta and seven clear of Roma at the top of Group C. It was the fifth time the Primavera have scored four goals in a league game this season.
Gianmario Corti’s Berretti side also stayed top with a win away at Alessandria courtesy of goals from Russo and Brignoli, while the U17s were beaten by Atalanta despite Schiro’s goal.
The U16s and U15s both beat Chievo Verona at home, while Stefano Bellinzaghi’s Giovanissimi Regionali were held to a 0-0 draw by Feralpiso.
