MILAN – We’ve teamed up with Opta to bring you all the key stats on our Serie A Week 27 mauling of Cagliari on Sunday.
· Ivan Perisic’s brace against Cagliari was his second in Serie A. His first came against Udinese in January.
· Perisic has scored nine league goals this season, his highest tally in a single campaign since 2013/14 (ten goals for Wolfsburg).
· Ever Banega’s previous Serie A goal was back in December 2016 (v Lazio). Like on Sunday, Banega scored one and made one against Lazio.
· Before the win over Cagliari, Mauro Icardi’s last Serie A goal on the road was against Empoli back in September.
· Roberto Gagliardini’s strike against Cagliari was his first Serie A goal in 22 appearances.
· Inter have won ten of their last 12 Serie A games, losing the other two.
· The last time Inter scored five or more goals away in Serie A was in September 2013 against Sassuolo.
· Marco Borriello’s goal was only the second header Inter have conceded this season – that’s fewer than any other Serie A side.
