MILAN – It was a fourth win on the bounce for Stefano Vecchi's Primavera, who brushed aside Ternana 4-0 in Week 20 of Group C to maintain the gap on the following pack.
"We had the right approach in the first half," the Inter U19 coach said after the game, "and in the second half we managed to break the deadlock and the contest became easier from there on.
"I'm pleased because we've been able to give plenty of minutes to different players. A few got their debuts, the performance was good and the result positive. Now let's focus on Thursday's game against Novara, which won't be easy. We'll be playing in a nice setting, so it's up to us to do well. I hope we can boss proceedings.
"We've won a good match against an organised outfit," he continued with Inter Channel. "Overall, it was a positive display. I tried to rotate a bit because we've got a lot of commitments in the coming weeks. We'll have a tough challenge against Novara, who have just beaten Roma. Let's hope we don't repeat the result from earlier in the season."
