MILAN – Members from Inter Club Alessandria, Inter Club Ancona and Inter Club Voghera were invited onto the San Siro pitch to mark their anniversaries ahead of Inter v Roma on Sunday evening.
"It was an incredible feeling and we’d delighted to have been able to celebrate such a significant milestone," said Vincenzo Novembre, the president of Inter Club Alessandria, which was marking its 40th anniversary. "We’re so proud to have made it to 40. We’ll always support the team."
Inter Clubs Ancona and Voghera were celebrating their 35th anniversaries.
Club legend and Inter Forever director Francesco Toldo presented each Inter Club with a commemorative jersey while the first team warmed up on the pitch.
"The fans’ support is so strong," said Toldo after the ceremony. "It’s always special when you get to celebrate these milestones. The passion and energy of our Inter Clubs is a huge part of the Nerazzurri family."
