APPIANO GENTILE – Antonio Candreva has underlined the need for Inter to be on top of their game when they come face to face with Juventus at the weekend.
The Nerazzurri travel to Turin for a 20:45 CET kick-off on Sunday and the Italy man is aware that nothing less than a stellar showing will do against the league leaders.
“We know it's going to be tough on Sunday and we'll have to perform to the very best of our ability and produce our very best effort,” the 29-year-old said in an interview with Mediaset Premium.
"It's a massive match, a wonderful match and everyone will be watching it. There was a great atmosphere at San Siro [in the reverse fixture] and we won.
“We're in good form at the moment so we're looking to go there and give them a game.”
The Nerazzurri winger was also asked about Italy team-mate Marco Verratti.
“He's on another level, a world-class player with a wealth of international experience. We all know how good he is.”
