Nerazzurri on longest winning run in top five leagues, D'Ambrosio nets his first of the campaign, Icardi makes it eight assists

MILAN - Stefano Pioli's Nerazzurri marched onward and upward with a seventh straight Serie A success on Saturday night, putting Pescara to the sword by a 3-0 scoreline.

With the help of our friends at Opta, here's a rundown of the latest stats:

- With seven consecutive Serie A victories, Inter are currently on the longest winning streak in the top five European leagues (level with Bayern Munich).

- The Nerazzurri have won seven Serie A matches in a row for the first time since November 2012.

- Inter have also won seven straight home games for the first time since May 2013, when they extended their run to 13.

- Pioli's men are on a nine-game winning streak in all competitions – Inter's longest since November 2012, when they made it to ten.  

- Pescara have now conceded in 16 consecutive Serie A games. They also have the longest run without a win (19 games) in this league.

- Danilo D'Ambrosio is the first defender to score for Inter in Serie A 2016/17.

- D'Ambrosio's strike against Pescara was his seventh in Serie A and his first in the current campaign. His last came against Bologna in March 2016. All three of his league goals for Inter have been scored at San Siro.

- Joao Mario has scored two goals and weighed in with three assists in his last six Serie A appearances; he scored one goal and set up one in the previous 12.

- Seven of the Nerazzurri's last 14 Serie A goals have come from crosses, taking their total to 11 from crosses in 2016/17 term (a league high).

- With his goal on Saturday night, Eder became the fastest substitute to score in Serie A this season (1 minute, 39 seconds).

- Eder has now scored 52 goals in 200 Serie A appearances.

- Mauro Icardi has laid on eight assists this term: no striker in the top five European leagues has provided more.
