MILAN - The Primavera got the weekend off to a fine start for the academy. Stefano Vecchi's side won 4-0 at Palermo to record a sixth straight league win and consolidate their place at the top of Group C. Meanwhile, in Sardinia another Nerazzurri side hit four, with Andrea Zanchetta's Under-17s comfortably beating Cagliari.
The Berretti and Under-16s could both only manage draws against Torino and Udinese respectively, going away with a feeling of what might have been. The Under-15s, however, bounced back from their first defeat of the season, winning 3-0 against Udinese. Finally, the Giovanissimi Regionali were narrowly beaten by Como.
