MILAN - Roberto Gagliardini began his Inter career with a win, after the Nerazzurri beat Chievo 3-1 on the midfielder's debut. He spoke to Inter Channel shortly after full time: "I'm pleased with my performance, the team's display and, above all, the result. We had to turn the game around after the break and we managed that."
"It was an amazing feeling today," continued the youngster. "It's hard to explain what I felt when I walked out there. The fans got behind us and really helped us out."
Where does Gagliardini feel he can improve? "I have to work on my shooting and my play in front of goal. I need to be more clinical. It's a long season and the sides above us are flying."
Gagliardini then discussed his unique unveiling: "It was a lot of fun. I felt comfortable and I'm pleased to have been the first player to interact like that with the fans."
