MILAN - Mauro Icardi hit his 15th goal of the season in Serie A against Chievo, with the strike that sparked Inter's comeback: "We're on the right track. That's five wins in a row now and we want to keep going. The team are training well during the week and we're getting our rewards now."
"I think we played brilliantly right from the outset," continued the captain. "We weren't clinical enough in front of goal in the first half yet we managed to find the net after the break. That's ultimately what matters.
"Now we'll turn our attentions to the Coppa Italia, before focusing on the league again. We're working on our mentality with Pioli and everyone is working hard for their team-mates. Third place was our target at the start of the season. We started the campaign badly but we've got back on track. On a personal level, I'm more relaxed when the team is winning. We have a great squad - I've always said that. I'm pleased for Ivan who scored again and that Eder's back in the goals."
