MILAN - It was a busy opening weekend in the Inter academy, with a host of fixtures to begin 2017. The Primavera were first up, narrowly losing their Coppa Italia semi-final first leg to a Tumminello strike for Roma. The Under-15s, 16s and 17s were all in action on Sunday meantime.
Lombardo's side dominated Hellas Verona and found the net through Vergani although that ultimately didn't prove sufficient. The same opposition were, however, thumped by Mandelli's 2002 crop. Zanchetta's kids secured an important victory at Chievo, securing an eighth straight league win thanks to Gavioli's strike.
