ANDREOLLI: "FOCUS NEEDED IN UDINE"

"The first game back after the break is always important but we've been able to train well in Marbella,"

MARBELLA - Marco Andreolli has stressed the importance of getting 2017 off to a good start as Inter prepare to leave their training camp in Spain and head back to Italy for their first Serie A game of the new year.

"Our stay here in Marbella has been good. We've been able to train in a warm climate and we've worked well. We're getting our fitness levels back up after the holidays so that we can start off on top form just as we left off. The first game back after the break is always important.”

After a week's training in milder climes, the Nerazzurri will return to the cold north of Italy on Friday ahead of their 2017 opener against Udinese on Sunday.

“We're not worried about the weather in Udine as long as we go there in the right shape and with the right focus,” Andreolli continued.

“As for my own fitness, the friendlies and this training camp have helped. The most important thing is getting back out there on the pitch.”

“I'm not thinking about the transfer market. All that matters is I train well so that I can keep improving my fitness and growing together with my team-mates. Transfer talk is normal in January but it doesn't bother me at all.”
