MILAN – In the aftermath of the Christmas Night Out, the emotions of welcoming back a legend like Lothar Matthaus to San Siro are still strong.
The excitement of yesterday evening left its mark on all those present, who went away with a great story to tell.
"He was a No.10 who brought glory to Inter, lifting the Ballon d'Or trophy to the sky at the Meazza," said Daniele Colombo from Inter Club Buscate. "Shaking his hand was an unforgettable moment."
"I had his old playing shirt with me and it's even more precious now after he signed it," commented Cristiano Galati from Inter Club Portofino & Santa Margherita Ligure. "It was a wonderful evening in a unique setting."
"I came with my son and thankfully this evening I was able to convey to him the emotions I experienced with Inter and Lothar in even more detail," said Marco Bosisio from Inter Club Istituto Nazionale Tumori Milano.
"It was a long journey for an unforgettable evening. His autographed shirt made all the club members happy," revealed Emanuele Orfanos from Inter Club Athens.
