PINAMONTI HAILS TOUGH AWAY WIN AT BOLOGNA

17-year-old striker speaks after scoring his 13th goal of the season: "I'm happy with my goal and for Belkeir too. Now we must focus on Atalanta"

BOLOGNA – Andrea Pinamonti was a happy man after helping Inter Under-19s claim their fourth consecutive league victory at Bologna on Saturday.

"We knew it would be hard because this is a tough place to come," the 17-year-old began after the Nerazzurri's 2-0 victory. "I'm happy with my goal. We got the result we wanted today and we're delighted."

Pinamonti notched his 13th league strike of the campaign in injury time after second-half substitute Mouhamed Menaour Belkheir had opened the scoring with this fourth of the season.

"I'm pleased for him. He was coming back in from injury and he broke the deadlock with a fine piece of play."

With Virtus Entella and Roma losing elsewhere, Inter head into the Christmas break top of Group C, but before they can relax there's a Coppa Italia quarter-final against Atalanta to play on Wednesday.

Pinamonti added: “These three points are crucial, especially as we've taken them off a great team like Bologna.

“Now we'll focus on Atalanta because we want to keep going in the cup, then we'll enjoy a well-deserved rest.”
