MILAN - It was another positive weekend for the Inter academy, beginning with the Primavera's excellent win over Atalanta. That was followed by victories for the Under-15s, 16s and 17s.
It was a week to remember for the Under-19s, as they secured three victories in the space of seven days in all competitions. Goals from Pinamonti and Bakayoko were enough to seal the points at the big match in Zingonia. Davide Merola, meanwhile, produced a star turn, inspiring the Under-17s to a fourth straight win with a hat-trick at home to Spal.
The 2001 and 2002 crops both came away with victory from their trips to Cittadella. Vergani and Fonseca found the net for the Under-16s, while Mandelli's side struck five. Stefano Bellinzaghi's Under-14s saw their winning run end at five, however, as they lost narrowly to Renate.
