SESTO SAN GIOVANNI – Stefano Vecchi’s Inter Primavera side are in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals after a 4-1 extra-time win over Udinese on Wednesday afternoon.
Vanheusden had fired the Nerazzurri ahead from the penalty spot in the eighth minute of the second half, only for Djoulou’s 61st-minute equaliser to force the Round of 16 clash into extra time.
Pinamonti restored Inter’s advantage seven minutes after the restart, before a quick-fire double from Bakayoko put the result beyond doubt.
Inter will now play Atalanta in the quarter-finals.
