MILAN - Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio spoke to Mediaset Premium shortly before AC Milan v Inter. Ausilio rejected suggestions that the derby is make or break for Inter but still stressed the importance of the fixture: "It's not last chance saloon but we have to try and pick up points to close the gap on the sides above us."
The sporting director also discussed the upcoming transfer window: "We have some top players in our squad already and our aim is to further improve this group of players. Suning want to invest to make our plans even more ambitious. We need to plan and work hard. In January we still need to respect UEFA's Financial Fair Play constraints, hence why we'll sell before we can buy."
The big team news sees Kondogbia restored to the starting line-up: "He trained for a fortnight, he's up for it, fit and raring to go."
