APPIANO GENTILE – Nerazzurri striker Eder has underlined the importance of Sunday's derby by describing it as “a match worth more than three points”.
The Italy man was speaking to Inter Channel after spending a week with the "enemy" in the shape of Rossoneri goalkeeper Gigio Donnarumma.
"Yes, I spent a week training with Donnarumma on international duty. Would I like to score past him? I don't really care whether it's me or a team-mate – the derby's so important.
“We've been training really well for it. This match is worth more than three points because if you win it's a massive enthusiasm boost too.
“I've been lucky enough to be involved in other derbies and I've seen the Milan derby before. I've always sensed this amazing atmosphere to it and hopefully we'll be the ones celebrating with our fans on Sunday.”
