MILAN - Inter Club members have black and blue blood coursing through their veins. At the home match against Crotone, rather than celebrating the birthdays of various Inter Clubs as is usually the case, the Nerazzurri recognised some important members of the great Inter Club family.
Inter Forever legends Alessandro Bianchi and Ivano Bordon thus gave a warm welcome by the touchline to the Invernizzi and Gallo families, three generations of members at Inter Clubs Erba and Seregno respectively.
Then it was time to recognise the female Inter Club members - Adriana De Leva, the coordinator of the Inter Clubs in the Campania region, Giovanna Mariotti, who works at the Inter Club Coordination Centre in the Varese area, Martina Fattoretto, the president of Inter Club Riviera Nerazzurri and Maria Luisa Amati, the secretary of Inter Club Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori Milano.
Finally, it was the turn of the new generations of the Inter Club family. The junior members brought excitement to the event at La Scala del Calcio.
The great ovation from the San Siro crowd was the best possible way of thanking families that have handed down support of the Nerazzurri, from fathers to sons. The applause also recognised the commitment and importance of female and junior members and the future of the Inter Club family, which has supported the Nerazzurri colours around the world for more than 50 years.
