MILAN – With Inter’s Serie A TIM Week 12 clash against Crotone coming up fast, we’ve teamed up with Opta to bring you all the key stats on the Sunday evening clash at San Siro.
- Sunday will see the first-ever meeting between Inter and Crotone in Serie A. The Calabrians got their first win in the Italian top flight last time out against Chievo Verona, having got their first point on the road at Fiorentina in Week 10.
- Inter have salvaged more points from losing positions than any other side in the league this season with eight, while Crotone have lost more points from winning positions than any other side with ten.
- Antonio Candreva’s next Serie A appearance will be his 250th in the Italian top flight. The winger has supplied more crosses from open play than any other player in the league this season.
- Two of Crotone’s squad came up through the ranks of the Inter youth academy: goalkeeper Alex Cordaz and midfielder Lorenzo Crisetig.
- It will also be the first Serie A meeting between Stefano Vecchi and Davide Nicola. The interim Inter boss has taken on Crotone once in the past, while he was coach of Carpi in Serie B.
