LONDON – It was a 10th birthday to remember for Inter Club London as Nicola Berti – the Nerazzurri legend now turning out for Inter Forever – attended their anniversary celebrations as guest of honour.
"It was a lovely evening – very enjoyable," said Berti afterwards. "Even here in London, the love people have for me and for Inter as a whole is just unique. I want to thank all the members for a great night dedicated to our beloved Inter."
Berti took the Inter Club London members back to the late 1980s, sharing anecdotes and stories from his time in the Nerazzurri first team.
Inter Club London president Manuel Corti agreed that it was a wonderful occasion.
"Hearing Nicola tell the story of the fantastic goal away at Bayern Munich in person made your hairs stand up on end. It’s fantastic for our club to have a visit from a player who helped us fall in love with the club."
