SAMADEN HOPES TO LEARN FROM DEFEAT

The head of the Nerazzurri youth academy to Inter Channel: "It will be important to bounce back. We have trust in Vecchi"

ROMERoberto Samaden was also in the stands at the Stadio Olimpico and has shared his thoughts on this evening's game.

"Let's hope this defeat helps us to grow," the head of Inter's youth academy said to the club's television channel. "The team didn't express themselves as we wanted. They're young guys and they have to develop. Now it will be important to bounce back.

"We should pay compliments to Roma because it seemed they had more than us today," Samaden added. "At the moment, in the league and the Super Cup, they have shown to be the better side.

"We have faith in the work Vecchi is doing because he has already proved that he develops young players in the right way. We're confident he'll bring the side to other important fixtures. He makes the difference for us.

"The league game was completely different. We created loads of chances and were more careful in defence. We were cautious in the first half tonight, but we didn't create that much and didn't play to the height of our ability."
