VECCHI: "HAPPY TO COMPETE FOR THIS TROPHY"

Here's the Primavera coach before kick-off in the Super Cup: "We have top-quality players, some games rest on the fine details"

ROME – Stefano Vecchi stressed the importance of this evening's game shortly before kick-off in the Primavera Super Cup final between Roma and Inter.

"We're playing for a trophy after our previous success with a fantastic squad," the Inter U19 coach said to Sportitalia. "This year we have a new group and we're coming here to go for it. Keeping our heads will be important tonight and you don't need to do anything to get pumped for this match. We've worked on some things that haven't gone quite right in previous encounters.

"We're here to win a big trophy. We have a talented squad of players like Roma and in tight contests like these the small details make the difference. These lads are quality but in order to play in Serie A you need a slice of luck. You need to wait for some to develop like Senna Miangue.

"They might feel nervous, but this is also part of their growth. We're happy to be playing for a trophy in such a famous stadium. I'm happy for the coaching staff, the club and the lads who are here."
