MILAN – Inter U16s’ run of six straight wins was brought to an end on Sunday afternoon as Lazio beat them 1-0 at the Centro Sportivo Giacinto Facchetti.
Despite producing a good performance, Matteo Lombardo’s side were unable to take any of the slew of chances they created in the first half.
And the Nerazzurri's profligacy was to prove costly as Lazio snatched a 1-0 win after a wicked deflection beat the Inter goalie in the first minute of second-half stoppage time.
