Post-match facts and figures from Opta following the Nerazzurri's Europa League success on Thursday night

MILAN – Antonio Candreva's superb finish saw Inter get back to winning ways with a 1-0 victory over Southampton on Thursday evening.

Here are a few match stats courtesy of our friends at Opta:

- The win ends a run of four consecutive defeats for Inter in European competitions.

- The Nerazzurri have now won each of the last four home games in Europe against English clubs.

- Before losing at San Siro, Southampton were unbeaten in their previous seven games in all competitions.

- Inter kept a clean sheet in a Europa League game for the first time since February 2015 (1-0 vs Celtic).

- Southampton have conceded two goals in their last two games (all competitions) having kept six clean sheets in the previous six matches.

- Southampton haven't conceded a first-half goal in their last eight games in all competitions.

- Inter have now failed to get a single shot on target in the first half for three consecutive UEFA Cup/Europa League games. That last happened in September 1997.

- Antonio Candreva's goal was Inter's only shot on target in the game.
