MILAN - Antonio Candreva scored his first goal for Inter tonight and what a time to score it! A crisp, unstoppable finish to earn all three points against Southampton and keep the Nerazzurri's Europa League challenge alive.
"It turned out to be a decisive goal and a crucial one because it means we're still in with a chance of qualifying from the group," Antonio admitted after the game.
"The Europa League is important to us and we must use this win as a springboard and push on from here.
"I don't score loads of goals and generally I prefer setting up my team-mates but obviously I'm delighted to get on the score sheet.
"We all played really well tonight. Now we have to kick on from here and keep playing with the same determination."
