VERONA – There was another win for the Inter youth academy as the Under 17 Serie A and B side beat Hellas Verona 2-1 on Sunday afternoon.
Andrea Zanchetta’s side took the lead in the seventh minute of the second half, Davide Merola slotting home from close range, with the young Italian making it 2-0 shortly afterwards courtesy of an inch-perfect Schiro assist.
The hosts pulled one back in second-half stoppage time, but there was to be no denying Inter.
