MILAN – Jeison Murillo called on his Inter team-mates to roll their sleeves up and put in the hard yards after they were beaten 2-1 by Cagliari on Sunday.
"We need to be winning these games and taking the chances we create. We have to improve across the board and play with more confidence. Our job is to beat the team in front of us.
"We need to pick ourselves up now, get some rest and then work hard to put Inter back where it belongs," said Murillo.
The Colombian then spoke of the importance of putting the defeat behind the team and looking ahead to the Southampton match.
"Let’s close this chapter, learn our lesson and focus on the Europa League."
