#ASKCANDREVA ROUND-UP

The Inter wide man answered fan questions on Twitter on Thursday, remarking that "the fans support the team from all over the world"

APPIANO GENTILE – "What would I have been if I hadn’t been a footballer? An electrician, maybe. Who knows how many power cuts I would have caused!"

Thankfully for the Inter fans, Antonio Candreva’s football skills meant he was never really likely to end up as a sparky. The Italian winger took over Inter’s official Twitter pages on Thursday to take part in #askCandreva, as fans from all over the world sent in questions for the Inter man.

Candreva, who revealed that had been determined to become a footballer "ever since I used to play outside in my neighbourhood", gave fans a fascinating insight into his adaptation at Inter.

"The full-backs are showing me what I need to do in defence. Attacking is all very well but we need to have a balance. There’s not one team-mate who I get on the best with – I like everyone and we have a great group here. Icardi is a fantastic player and I’m happy to be able to help him with my crosses."

The Italian also spoke warmly of the way he joined the Nerazzurri.

"Inter have fantastic owners in Suning and I’m proud to have been their first big signing."

Away from football, Candreva let fans into his private life: "I’ve started watching Narcos on Netflix and I love it. I also enjoy tennis, but I don’t follow it too closely. I have a daughter, of course – anything can happen when she’s around!"
