CORDOBA – Inter schemer Ever Banega was on the losing side on Tuesday night as his Argentina side were beaten 1-0 at home by Paraguay.
Banega started the World Cup 2018 qualifier at the Estadio Mario Alberto Kempes in Cordoba, but was unable to prevent Paraguay nicking the win with an 18th-minute Derlis Gonzalez goal.
Banega was replaced by David Pratto on 69 minutes.
