MILAN – Italy defeated Macedona 3-2 this evening in a qualification match for Russia 2018.
The Azzurri were in a precarious position for much of the contest, losing until the 75th minute when Antonio Candreva found the decisive pass for Ciro Immobile to level things up. The Inter winger also supplied the assist for Immobile's second, and Italy's winner, in the 92nd minute.
Fellow Nerazzurri man Eder made a substitute appearance in place of goalscorer Andrea Belotti in the 84th minute.
