MILAN - The coaches of Inter Academy Yitao Shanghai have just spent the last fortnight on an internship with the Nerazzurri. Inter Academy staff members Andrea Ratti, Valerio Ringoli and Luigi Mainolfi led two weeks worth of theory in the classroom and practice on the pitch.
The group began with a few sessions at the Centro Sportivo Giacinto Facchetti, attending lectures and watching matches and training, before taking a tour of the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in the build-up to Inter v Bologna. The Chinese coaches then had the chance to look around the training ground in Appiano Gentile and attend a first-team session run by Frank de Boer and his staff.
Their trip concluded with vice president Javier Zanetti and Inter Academy technical director Marco Monti handing out diplomas to all the participants at the club's offices.
