HANDANOVIC SEES ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT

Here's what the Slovenian keeper had to say in today's conference: "We've got better and you can see it. There's more balance to the side"

PRAGUE Samir Handanovic praised the progress Inter have made recently, while insisting there is much more to come from the Nerazzurri.

Speaking alongside Frank de Boer at the pre-match news conference ahead of Sparta Prague v Inter in the Europa League, the goalkeeper declared that "all the games are important".

"I don't choose between the Europa League and Serie A,” Handanovic added. “At the moment, we're just thinking about tomorrow's game."

De Boer's side is improving with every game, even though they still find themselves having to fight back from losing positions.

"We've been thinking about the fact that we always go behind and it's clearly not normal. Sometimes we hand our opponents the opening 20 minutes on a plate and we don't want this to happen. Nevertheless, we can get better in every outing and grow together to change this as well."

"Compared to the start of the season, we've made great progress. We're more balanced but there's much more room for improvement. We have so many games and it would be better to have a few more training sessions, but we have to accept the situation as it is.

"We'll use the games to improve more," he concluded. "We've got a chance to go even further in our development."
