MILAN – Shortly before kick-off in Inter v Bologna, long-standing season-ticket holder Emidio Tedeschi received an award for his 60 years watching the team at the stadium.
A Nerazzurri fan from birth, Tedeschi has stuck by the squad through thick and thin, enjoying the highs and enduring the lows, with his love for the club unblemished throughout. A loyal member at Inter Club Chiari, he is still an ever-present in the stands, accompanied by his wife Giovanna Pozzoli – herself a season-ticket holder for 56 years.
The pair were invited onto the pitch for a special ceremony where Tedeschi received a personalised shirt from two Inter Forever players: Dario Morello and Andrea Seno.
"Over 60 years, I've experienced so many emotions here at the stadium," Tedeschi said, "some great and others more difficult, but I carry every single one with joy in my heart. Today was another unique day, feeling all the warmth of my fellow Nerazzurri fans made me even prouder to support this club."
