MILAN - Inter Under-18s have begun their league campaign with a win over Torino, the same opposition they beat in the final act of last season to be crowned Italian champions.
Gianmario Corti's youngsters took the lead at the Centro Sportivo Giacinto Facchetti just before the break, Putzolu converting a penalty after Zappa was fouled. Putzolu then added his and the team's second on the hour mark, tucking home from close range after the Granata keeper failed to hold Sala's effort.
Belkheir put the gloss on the result, finishing off a nice piece of individual play on the counter. The visitors would score a consolation late on but the final score read 3-1 to Inter.
