VECCHI: "POSITIVE PERFORMANCE AGAINST AN EXCELLENT SIDE"

The Primavera coach reacts to Inter 1-0 Entella: "We played particularly well in the first half. We can manage the game better over 90 minutes"

SESTO SAN GIOVANNI - The Nerazzurri Primavera won again on Saturday, maintaining top spot in Group C, thanks to a narrow victory over Virtus Entella in their Week 3 league match.

Stefano Vecchi spoke to Sportitalia after Andrea Pinamonti's solitary strike was enough to secure a third straight win: "I really enjoyed our first-half display, where we opened the scoring and played good football, going to close to a second on a number of occasions. We struggled a bit more in the second half as we tired but Di Gregorio only had one save to make. We'll work hard to learn how to better manage games, especially after the break. We have some very exciting players but we have to become more solid and grow in confidence to learn how to better dictate proceedings for the full 90 minutes."

The coach continued his analysis on Inter Channel: "I believe we played very well overall. We're still not at 100% but we only afforded Virtus Entella one chance and they're an excellent team. We must use the ball better in the opposition half of the field because we could have killed the game off sooner."

The full interview will be shown on tonight's edition of the news on Inter Channel at 19:30.
