MILAN – Four Inter Clubs were invited out onto the hallowed San Siro turf on Sunday night to receive special awards ahead of the Derby d’Italia against Juventus.
Inter Forever stars Alessandro Bianchi and Fabio Galante presented commemorative Nerazzurri jerseys to Inter Club Episcopia for their 35th anniversary, Inter Club Miami for their 10th anniversary, Inter Club Mulhouse for their 20th anniversary and Inter Club San Gallo for their 25th anniversary.
And we caught up with Inter Club Miami president Tommaso Cardana after the ceremony to hear his reaction.
“What an amazing feeling to be on the San Siro pitch before the Derby d’Italia to accept this really important recognition of our Inter Club,” began Cardana. “We’re delighted to have hit this milestone and even though we’re based a long way from Milan, we’re proud to support the Nerazzurri colours across the pond!”
