MILAN – Felipe Melo has called on his team-mates to produce more performances like the one that saw them roar back from a goal down to beat Juventus 2-1 at San Siro on Sunday evening.
"It’s important that we never give up – we need to remember we play for a top club,” the midfielder told Inter Channel after the game. "The fans gave us an incredible boost tonight. They inspired us to win the game and work hard. We need to keep this up – we’ve beaten a side that’s won it all in recent years and that’s a huge achievement.
"When I joined a year ago I said I wanted to help the team, on the pitch and in training. It’s massive for us to beat them – it’s like a competition of its own. But now we need to get straight back to work."
