SALERNO – The Primavera romped to a 5-0 victory away against Salernitana to make it two wins from two games in 2016/17.
It took just ten minutes before Inter were in the lead. Reno Mauro Piscopo gathered the ball just inside the area and let fly with a tremendous shot that ended up in the net. It was a sign of things to come for the hosts, who couldn't handle it when the Nerazzurri put their foot on the gas.
Further first-half goals from Karlo Butic, his first in an Inter shirt, and Andrea Pinamonti ensured a healthy lead at half-time.
The same pattern continued after the break, with Salernitana barely threatening. Butic turned assist-maker in the 61st minute, freeing up Pinamonti with a nice through-ball and the young striker made no mistake.
With the points in the bag, Stefano Vecchi made some changes and one of the substitutes, Thomas Gaydu, added the icing on the cake when he got ahead of the Salernitana keeper to make it five.
