MILAN – It's #ThrowbackThursday again and this time we've gone into the vaults to pull out a special Javier Zanetti goal.
On 15 September 1996, Roy Hodgson's Inter came up against Perugia at home in their second game of the season. With the score at 0-0 midway through the second half, the former Nerazzurri captain, now the club's vice president, embarked on a mazy run from midfield, played a one-two with Ciriaco Sforza and burst into the box before beating Aleksandar Kocic in goal. Points in the bag and Zanetti's third goal for the club.
