MILAN – Ever Banega’s Argentina were forced to battle back from a 2-0 deficit to secure a 2-2 draw with Venezuela in their 2018 World Cup qualifier on Tuesday evening.
Venezuela had taken the lead through Juanpi and Martinez, but Pratto and Otamendi scored in the second half to salvage a point for Argentina.
Banega played the full 90 minutes for the Albiceleste.
