MILAN – Joao Mario’s Portugal made a poor start to their 2018 World Cup qualification campaign as they were beaten 2-0 in Switzerland on Tuesday night.
Inter midfielder Joao Mario was brought on at half time with Portugal already trailing to goals from Embolo (24) and Mehmedi (39) but was unable to spark a comeback.
