MILAN – Gabriel Barbosa Almeida received a bonus present today after officially signing as an Inter player on his 20th birthday.
The Brazilian striker has moved to Milan after four seasons at Santos where he won the Sao Paulo state championship twice in 2015 and 2016. He's signed a deal keeping him at the Nerazzurri club until 2021.
Gabigol has represented his country at U15, U17, U20 and U23 level before making his debut for the senior team in March 2016. He has since played four times and scored twice for the Verde-Amarela. He was part of the history-making Olympic squad that won Brazil's first-ever gold medal in football at Rio 2016.
As we wait to see him in action at San Siro, everyone connected with Inter gives Gabigol a warm welcome to the club, wishing him a happy birthday and a fantastic career in a Nerazzurri shirt.
